The Bruins were coming off a season-high performance on Friday at Washington, where they scored 194.6 and set several career and season-high marks. They continued to raise the bar on Sunday, with freshmen Melissa Chan and Kristina Comforte leading the way in the all-around. Chan won the all-around with a career-high 39.375, and Comforte placed second with a career-high 39.35.

Senior captain Chrissy Lamun helped the Beavers beat the Bears 193.950-190.750, by winning individual titles on bars (9.800), beam (9.850) and floor (9.850) on Jan. 20. Freshman Tasha Smith walked away with the all-around title for the second week in a row, scoring a 39.175. Oregon State put together a season-best performance against then-No. 13 UCLA on Jan. 22, but fell short to the Bruins 196.075-195.400. Senior Angela Morales reached the awards podium scoring a 9.875 to tie for second on the vault and also scored a 9.800 to tie for third on the floor with Lamun.
