"Amazement (Ring-tailed Lemur)"
At the Los Angeles Zoo in Monkey Island, this ring-tailed lemur comes towards the crowds of people but is very preoccupied and amazed, it appears, by my powerful bursts of flash. These lemurs are extremely quick-footed and have awesome jumping abilitites, but when curious, they can stay in one position for a couple of moments, long enough to get the shot. When you see the tail high up in the air, it can mean that this lemur is ready for either a stink fight or to keep warm. I happen to think we were about to do battle!
