"Checkerboard Mesa (Eastern Zion)"
Checkerboard Mesa shows the weathered hide of our living earth near the eastern entrance of Zion National Park, Utah. The eastern part of Zion is slickrock country and is filled with arches, alcoves, hoodoo formations, and wind and water sculpted rock. Checkerboard Mesa is a mountain of Navaho sandstone and is naturally sculpted.
