Snow covers the hoodoos in an amphitheater carved by Yellow Creek at Paria View with the Table Cliffs Plateau in the background.The Paria River and its many tributaries have carved the plateau edges around Bryce Canyon as rushing water carried dirt and gravel to the edges and steep slopes of the Paunsaugunt Plateau.
