I had another go at shooting video of the descent down Painted Cave and Old San Marcos. This time the batteries lasted the whole time, and I aimed the camera correctly. I followed Ed and Michael down, but I had trouble keeping up on the rough upper section and lost them around the caves. They waited for me at the top of OSM and I got them the rest of the way down. It was a little difficult descending quickly with the camera because I had to hold my head relatively still and keep it up for a good view.
Also here is video I shot a few weeks ago at crit practice. As you can see I held on for a few minutes until I started losing the group in the corners and got dropped after I got too tired to keep closing the gap.
This time, rather than hosting these large files myself, I decided to put them on YouTube, also so that no special codecs are required.
