I just posted a review of yesterday’s lunch at the new Panino in Goleta on SantaBarbara.com. I apologize that some of this is repeated from my post yesterday.

Having eagerly awaited for this new new Panino location, I stopped by with a huge appetite having just climbed Old San Marcos and Painted Cave. The woman at the counter was very nice and I chatted with her as I scanned the menu. The chicken salad sandwich seemed promising, its description sounded like what I usually make for myself, “Chunks of grilled chicken breast mixed with onions, greens & tomato”. I was disappointed when I got to my office and realized that it had mayonaise, which was NOT in the description. So I gave it only 3.5 stars because it wasn’t what I wanted, even though it WAS very good. The service was great, the woman brought our sandwiches out to me and my friend and it was a nice atmosphere; the butcher block tables were an especially cute touch.
