Kim has been trying to get me to do triathlons with her for a while. When people ask me why I don’t do triathlons I say I would but I hate swimming and running. Now she has been doing masters swimming at the gym while I sit in the hot tub and watch. I like that arrangement, it works for me. Imagine my surprise when Kim won the wetsuit in the drawing at Nite Moves this week, then turned around, gave it to me, and said now I had no excuses. No excuses? Drat. Isn’t “I don’t wanna” an excuse? Oh well, I guess I’ll have to suck it up and learn to swim properly, eventually.
